Wow.
In med school we were taught to encourage a modified vaccine schedule, and to encourage parents to perform a cost/benefit analysis of the vaccines in order to determine which ones to give, and which ones not to give. But they never taught even us that there were no controls–for ANY of the vaccines on the childhood schedule. They say there were, but the controls always compare the newer vaccine to the older one (if there was one), or if there wasn’t one, they compare the vaccine to a “placebo” that includes all the adjuvants, but they simply lack the antigen. But it’s the adjuvants that are in most cases the most concerning ingredients. There is absolutely no good reason to make this choice, when truly inert placebo options exist… unless you want to obscure the data.
The rest of the book was equally eye-opening, as well as extremely scientifically grounded and not at all sensationalist. It’s also incredibly well-written, for a book that (for obvious reasons) was published anonymously.
Well, well, well worth the read.
